Life is Happening

Life is simply unfolding. Different people, different paths, different needs, different pursuits. Even people of the same age, raised in similar circumstances, may find themselves chasing entirely different things, not necessarily because one is ahead and another behind, but because life has presented each of them with a different journey.

Perhaps that is why, in the journey of life, there are really no age mates. We may share birthdays and generations, but we do not share timelines.

And achievement itself offers no permanent arrival. The accomplishment of one goal merely reveals the next mountain. The person you think has “made it” is often standing at the beginning of another pursuit.

So maybe life is less about keeping pace with others and more about understanding the season life has permitted you to occupy, and walking it well.

We are age mates by years, but rarely by journey.

Just run your race well.

   Well said….. We all run this life thing separately, but we should always strive to do the right thing and put God first
